La Propiedad

My host-dad owns property nearby that I went to once before, but this time I brought my camera.  I went with him, his father, two of my host-brothers, and two of my host-cousins.  We were going to check on the cows and give them a special bath with medicine, as well as collect fire wood.  The cows were all a little bit angry that day because they were fighting to eat the most salt, and they were trying to run away from Omar who had the machine for the medicine bath.  But we were all in a small fenced-in area together, so they couldn't go far.  My brothers and cousins lassoed the cows to hold them as still as possible during the baths, and sometimes it got scary with the cows running straight at us in anger.  Although I didn't lasso any cows, because it really is kind of dangerous, I learned to lasso!  I practiced with a tree stump, and we had a competition and I won 10 Lempiras!  (Which is about 50 cents.)  But still I learned a lot that day and had a ton of fun.
